A prominent ally of Donald Trump suggested on Sunday that the special counsel appointed to investigate alleged links between the president’s aides and Russia should instead focus on the murder last year of a young Democratic staffer, Seth Rich, which has become the focus of conspiracy theorists.

In an appearance on Fox and Friends less than two days after his wife was proposed as ambassador to the Holy See, Newt Gingrich – former speaker of the House, 2012 presidential candidate and a Trump confidante – publicly endorsed the conspiracy theory that Rich was “assassinated” after giving Democratic National Committee emails to WikiLeaks.
So the question is, Why not release this back in July? Obviously no interest in seeing justice served, as this murder has gone unsolved for ten months. So, Why now?
But why kill him if he had already leaked the emails.
1. Everything, everything, EVERYTHING depended on Hillary winning. Clearly it was “too easy” to get these docs to Wikileaks. An example had to be made and fast. Murder was an easy, successful way to stop any other whistleblowers. Seth was not the only enemy of Hillary’s to not make it to Election Day. They murder like we brush our teeth in that family.
2. It provided a wonderful threat to Bernie. Within a few days of Seth’s murder, Bernie had endorsed Hillary, with the same amount of enthusiasm as an ISIS prisoner confessing to crimes before being beheaded.

The bottom line is people are routinely murdered in DC for five bucks.
To leave a phone, Cash, Credit Cards, Watch, and necklace is like an Alien landing.
And, interestingly, this wasn’t the beating we so often see, where the concern is brain swelling.
This crime jumps out - and then surveillance video is not sought by the authorities. No attempt was made to see if he was followed.

DC local news had PI Wheeler saying that he asked DC Police questions, they didn’t answer, but promptly called the Feds, who promptly called the DNC.
The DNC within hours called the family and asked why Rod Wheeler was asking questions!
The family relayed that story to Wheeler.

When the media uses this phrase, they need to be reminded that it’s only a “conspiracy theory” if you believe it to be true and simply go looking for facts to back up what you believe.
But if you’re just wondering about whether or not it’s a possibility, and go looking for facts to either prove or disprove it, then while generally conforming to how people talk about “theories”, that’s not what most people mean by “conspiracy theorists”.

I guess we may find out which Feds it was... that’s the link between the DC cops and the DNC.
I think I’ve been hearing Leftists say for months that while Wikileaks may have gotten the documents from someone other than a Russian, that ultimately the Russian hackers WERE the source.
And never once do they address the contents of the Podesta emails (showing collusion between the DNC and CNN and the Clinton campaign including a rigged town hall conference). The closest they come is when they call them ALLEGED emails. So the hackers provided emails that they didn’t hack but created entirely from whole cloth, kinda like Dan Ratherbiased’s Waco National Guard memos?

Sean Hannity must believe it and seen the proof because he’s all over Twitter this morning telling everybody to watch for it and that’s it’s coming out.
And that should concern me why?
Were I to follow your logic through to its conclusion, then no investigation should proceed unless all evidence was already known.
What Gingrich is doing is encouraging - with a bullhorn louder than "you and I" have - an investigation into Seth Rich's murder.
Or perhaps, since he knows only as much as "you and I", he should not be encouraging the search for truth, even though he has the power and the ability to do so?
I'm sorry, but given the media's malignant incuriosity regarding this issue (some might say their collusion in suppressing it), I applaud his statement.
Except he just got backed up by Kim.com who says he will provide proof to congress if they ad the murder investigation into the special counsel probe. If true, sounds like "his guy" got threatened and backed down.

Seth Rich was killed before wikileaks put out the e mails. Since wikileaks has a very high accuracy rate, I am sure they verify the info before putting it out there.
Remember podesta’s email said he wanted to make an example of the leaker for others so there wouldn’t be anymore. Now that prick podesta is working for the Washington post where all the fake Trump stories are coming from.
He gave out exactly where to find them if investigators were not corrupt. It kept him from giving out classified info on the web and getting into trouble and showed how corrupt the investigation was.
Kim.com gave the investigator the exact location of the Clinton emails without giving out classified info to the world, which means he had access to it and kept it classified. Confirmed by Congress I thought. In the last few weeks the deep state has shown how powerful and corrupt they are, we have an investigation over a memo written by a Clinton operative whose family receives money from the foundation....hearsay.....thus outing of the murder to expose the total fraud of the "Russian investigation". It restores their reputations and info that is being ignored if they can prove it.
Look guys, Gowdy explained why this stuff has been covered up, it takes down the whole government. The problem is that by not taking out the bad actors quietly if they were going to cover this up and let it go, they continue to do harm. It all needs to come down even if it takes down most of the leaders of both parties.
To make an example of him, and he was killed before the emails were put on the web. They thought they got him before it got out. The real question is who in the FBI gave him up to the dems.....they only way they would have known.
