but also a Florida permit which gets you into a lot of other states. Just not Minnesota.

But a number of states have come up with their own exceptions to that rule. Alabama does not allow a non resident of Florida with a nonresident FL permit to carry in their state. If you live in FL with their CCW permit, you're fine. But if you live in MN and have a FL permit, forget carrying in Alabama. Same for others. Better check.
