At this point i really expected more from a top management guru

So did I. Every CEO knows that the first thing you do when taking over is fire your secretary. She knows too much, and is too loyal to the old CEO.

Perhaps if Trump spent more time in the M&A world he'd understand the urgency of purging the potentially disloyal a little better.

Trump really is a social man and operates from a mindset of business rationality - and i believe he is a true patriot who maybe got swept along in thinking he achieved and earned a patriots due

The implacable media-political establishment went right to work in building their version of the wall” - to insulate the power establishment from usurpation by “ deplorables” - the ignorant unwashed in fly over country who just don't appreciate their superior US and world view and right to rule

I think he vastly underestimated the hostility and irrational hatred he faced in DC , which outweighs any spirit or intent of “ public service” among elected and unelected elites
