TUCSON, Arizona — Sinaloa Cartel-linked smugglers and migrants are growing more violent against U.S. Border Patrol agents in the Tucson sector as penalties for their crimes stiffen. Realizing that being caught now means almost certain prosecution and incarceration, the smugglers and migrants are increasingly becoming violent with Border Patrol agents in remote border regions in efforts to escape and evade justice.

We need to deploy the military on the border.
If they can’t defend the country, why have them?

Give the Border Patrol IFVs with mini-guns on them.
Lets see how violent the invaders are, when the reply comes at a rate of 3000 rounds per minute.

I agree with you, but wonder what percent of illegals in the country use drugs? Is the number significant enough to matter? Maybe getting rid of the illegals will have some impact on drug use in the USA. BTW, I don’t know nor am I speculating on the above, but I am curious.

It’s time to get serious. . .Military in Action! Now! It’s a war zone along the border states. What happened to the “protect the citizens of the US” thing?

Illegals using drugs is new, the cartels never used to try and drug their own people. That is a new development in the last 15 years.

Of course they’re going to get more violent....Trumps cutting off the $$$$$$$$ stream.....gangs getting booted out etc......drug cartels will make this a war on “OUR” border like they have throughout Mexico.

I won’t be surprised if our border ends up having military on it in due time.

“Maybe jail lots of Americans with the drug habits causing this market as well. Shame on them, they fund terror all over the world.”

They are also not the innocent victims sob sisters portray them as. Most are vile, evil criminals who’ll do anything to feed their habits.

I know. I have one in my family who ruined her late mother’s life by extorting drug money from her and abandoned her children, one of whom was a very decent boy. When that boy was dumped by a girl friend, he couldn’t take it and committed suicide, probably because of the rejection he’d experienced from his druggie mother. That damned druggie didn’t even go to her own mother’s funeral.

It takes two elements to fund terror: demand for drugs, and laws that restrict the drug market to criminals. Which of these two is within our power to end?

Wait until the addicts here have the price of their drug of choice go up up up.....maybe they’ll all leave for Mexico where they can get it at will from the horses mouth.

But the addicts in the cities are going to commit more crimes to feed their addictions.

“The flack is always heaviest when you’re over the target.”

Sounds like desperation is setting in with these gangs. President Trump’s policies must be putting a big hurt on them.

If congress continues to block the border wall, Trump should deploy the armed forces to reinforce them. Troops guarding the law enforcement.
