> There were videos & films of the Socialist dictator of Iraq’s forces physically occupying Kuwait. Your effort to deny that reality is absurd.
Nice straw man. I did not deny that. In fact it confirms my statement, that we did the Kuwaiti’s dirty work.
And yes Kuwait did lie... “babies in incubators dumped on the floor” A lie told to Congress by the daughter of the Kuwaiti ambassador to the US.
And I again endorse Donald Trump's pivot to a more realistic foreign policy:
But the parameters of our respective positions should be clear.
> You do not deny a Socialist Nation seized a country
Correct
> with huge common interests with the United States
Incorrect
The lie was repeated by Bush. The lie was used to stir outrage and helped sell the war.

Our greatest strength in any struggle has been in an ability to improvise. There were countless incidents in World War II, where this made all the difference. It was in this particular quality that you will find the reason why we could prevail so decisively against two of the best armies every mobilized, with only a fraction of the casualties that they sustained. (Contrast that, for example, with the Russian losses in the same war.)
Our aptitude, in this regard, has been honed in a culture (and the selective breeding patterns induced by that culture) which exalt the individual, which make achievement or failure dependent upon the mettle of the individual. It is in that culture (and selective breeding patterns), that the individual becomes responsible for solving his own problems, becomes fully accountable for his own behavior.
While this culture of the Fathers has been under sustained attack for three generations, it remains inherent enough in the character of the rooted American, that there can be little doubt but that--if the Administration is really determined to stay the course--we will prevail over the present enemy. It may take a long time or victory may come relatively quickly. The real question is what will follow.
And I think we can say Trump is the best sort of man of achievement born of our self-reliant, rugged individual culture in America. He is very appropriately the man to turn the tables on Obama, the Marxist, and someone who never achieved anything outside of being a political animal, a dope smoker, and pawn of shadowy corporatists like Warren Buffet and Soros.
Note: Not sure what you meant by "selective breeding patterns".
Nice piece of work.

Thank you for the kind words.
"Selective breeding patterns" is a reference to the natural penchant in any human society for those who best display characteristics, that a particular society most values, to have a selective edge in the mating process. We started out with settlers who had a far more adventuresome & risk taking ability, and other kindred traits, than those who remained behind. The Founding Fathers secured--for a time, at least--a social/political climate, where such folks could develop and achieve greatly.
While despite the Leftist lunacy that considers people interchangeable and fantasizes notions that changing the social environment some how changes those in that social environment (a myth common to most monolithic totalitarian movements); people create social environments that reflect their natures--that is nature & nurture complement each other. (In a normal society, nurture reinforces nature; something that Leftists of both the Marxist & Nazi variations cannot tolerate or accept and still pursue their monolithic quests.
Thanks, Ohioan,
I like your expanded notion of “breeding”. How can we breed the next generation to be prosperous, safe, and civil?
It’s not just about looks, plumage, and physical dexterity which are valued in the animal kingdom.
For man, we need to look at broader qualities.
And I agree, the pioneer heritage of early Americans led us to the point where we appreciated self-reliance more than city dwellers did in England at the time.
Lived in Japan for three years. And the formidable challenges of nature — mountains everywhere, earthquakes, volcanos, torrential rains/mudslides, and tsunamis — shaped that nation’s breeding. Community cooperation became more important, to the point where the groups you belong to define you much more than here in the US. And engineers were needed to tame rivers and reinforce castles against earthquakes.
In America there are vast plains and wide open spaces, so it’s much easier to build. So America is a nation of lawyers rather than engineers.
