Mark Zuckerberg joins Silicon Valley bigwigs in calling for government to give everybody free money
CNBC ^ | May 25, 2017 | Todd Haselton

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg called on the need to consider universal basic income for Americans during his Harvard Commencement Speech.

Zuckerberg's comments reflect those of other Silicon Valley bigwigs, including Sam Altman, the president of venture capital firm Y Combinator.

"Every generation expands its definition of equality. Now it's time for our generation to define a new social contract," Zuckerberg said during his speech. "We should have a society that measures progress not by economic metrics like GDP but by how many of us have a role we find meaningful. We should explore ideas like universal basic income to make sure everyone has a cushion to try new ideas."

If we’re going to have hyperinflation, maybe I’ll hedge and buy a 25 yr food supply now.
Then I’ll just need to pay for gas, utilities, oh and outlandish TAXES!

He feels pretty free giving away money from people who make far less than himself. His own money? Not so much...

His rear can’t cash the checks his mouth writes I see.

If this accidental billionaire had honestly earned his fortune the old fashioned way (like a certain billionaire president), he’d know better than to support such a ludicrous proposal.

The idiot literally fell into a pot of gold, and thinks everyone else can, too.

Someone needs to ask this little weasel if he is all for free stuff why he sells so much information. Why not just give it away?

Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan

She married a billionaire, but won't even take his name.

Worse yet, he said, "That's cool."

I think it’s the people hailing them as geniuses that are dumb. We know they’re just morons with money.

So what?

This fashion of married women retaining their maiden names, is just one more cultural assault upon the institution of the nuclear family - which is the bedrock of our society.

I find it similar to the push for multi-culturalism, which is a diabolical effort to divide and splinter the people of our nation, to prevent them from being one.

We already have this you MORON. It is called WELFARE!

And, oh, by the way... the people on “WELFARE” are trying all sorts of new things as you already know, and not for the better of society!

Perhaps a better solution is to remove this punk and his handler’s finances so they have no platform or mouth to spew these vulgar delusions.

His pupils are freakishly large. Like something you would see on an anime character. I think he’s a robot.

Dumb? He wants to use our money to let others buy his products. He is also aware that as long as there is poverty the lifestyle of the 1% is criticized; he has to maintain the illusion of championing the people he despises.

Well, leftists always say:

Seems to me that thinking globally would be to encourage a total redistribution of wealth while acting locally would be for Zuck to lead the way and distribute all of his own wealth.
