The goal of the US military is to kill our enemies, and break their shit with ruthless efficiency.
Anything less is completely unacceptable to the American soldier and the American people.

One can understand the attraction of being a Commander In Chief to those on the Left, particularly those who have never served: the military is a group of citizens who are charged with obeying orders and prohibited (to a degree) from complaining about it. It's a playpen for autocrats, a perfect petri dish for social experimentation, a microcosm of what they'd like all of society to be like and what they'd like to do to it when it is.
Oh, the mission? Never mind the mission. That's somebody else's problem. Those who respect the mission tend to respect the people trying to accomplish it; those interested in something else such as self-aggrandizement - Hillary, 0bama - tend not to.

I guess that policy is an invitation to anyone wanting a taxpayer funded transformation, with the possibility of claiming discrimination for anything and being able to use the military and be set for life.

Why have none of these policies been changed? Why isnt there money in the new budget for the 355 ship Navy Trump promised? Why hasn’t sequester been repealed? The same Generals and Admirals who didn’t say a word as Obama tried to destroy the military are now civilians in charge of it. And still not a peep about rolling back any of his disastrous policies.
