Yeah, but all the “scientists” work for the gummint...so there’s that.
Great-Grandmother always told me "stay away from pills" and she lived to be 92 in good health.
It’s all fun and games until you find a bong in your kids closet.
There hasn’t been a pot taboo in decades. At this point only the most ignorant or financially self-interested parties want to see the prohibition regime continue.
It should be a no brainer for Trumps FDA to change mj from schedule#1 where it doesn’t belong so that it can be studied and would allow for the laws governing it to be changed.
ts all fun and games until your kids have a psychotic episode.
For lots of folks, it’s a great solution.
Cheap, easy to grow and safe to handle.
Mara-hoo-jah can help folks who are living with Cancer, MS and lots of others conditions.
Tobacco & Alcohol but no Weed?
Seems kind of random to me.
Get rid of the “No Distilling” rules too.
“Free the Shine!”
At some point last year....some family (adult kids included) had gone to Colorado for a family vacation. They stop off and buy weed products (weed chewies).
The 19 or 20 year old is going to do one of the chewey packages, while the family was going out to shop. He did one...waited five minutes...no reaction, and did a second. I’m not sure if he did three or four total....but after a while....the effect kicked in...massively. One package of chewies was the legal dose you needed. He ended going psychotic and pulled a pistol and shot himself dead.
The pharmaceutical industry will fight that with every ounce of its being. Cheaper and safer alternatives to its products would destroy their profit margins.
OK, that sounds great to my inner libertarian and parent/grandparent self. The benefits of saving money on the results from the much-abused "war on drugs" also speaks to me. Then, I look at another current case of "let the scientists lead", "global warming", and I know that's a false appeal to authority.
There are still bad outcomes lurking should we choose to immediately reverse course on marijuana. The data developing in the author's own state of CO on impaired driving while using legal weed should be adequate to give pause. And, yes, I did read carefully and understand the difference in CBD and THC. The author was clear in the piece she believes the field should be open for the "scientists to lead" in both areas. I disagree while remaining open to the usages that help people like her daughter. Those cases are rare enough to be manageable while research and validation continue in carefully defined studies.
Fortunate woman. I'm almost 65 and am blessed to not have anything that requires medication but my wife would be absolutely miserable and probably obese if not for her Synthroid due to an impaired thyroid.....
Too many are on pills that they needn't be and that is where the problem lies.
It’s all fun and games till your child starts having 100÷ seizures a every fsy.
I have ordered Canabis Oil. I can’t wait for it to arrive.
Since my husband passed away, I’ve had a very difficult time falling asleep. I was prescribed trazadone. My reactions to it have been extreme.
The first time i took it, i slammed my wrist on the bedside table topped with glass. It disconnected the tendon and fractured my wrist. It took 3 years to heal.
I was thrashing around in my sleep. Finally, I started to sleep walk. I sleep walk just about every night now. It is dangerous. I have to unplug various cooking appliances so that I can’t use them while I’m walking. I have to hide my hair products as well. Oh, the stories I could tell of my experiences! LOL
I have to hide the deadbolt key so I can’t get out of the house. I managed to do so several times, even so.
It is so toxic to my system & I can’t make plans because I’m a widow and live alone. I never know what time I’ll wake up.
I am so hopeful that this oil will allow me to get off the toxic pharma meds.
It doesn’t have the THC—the buzz, so I can get on with my life. The CBD is healing without any side affects.
I can’t wait for it to arrive. I took a tiny piece of my daughter’s med marijuana cookie. She takes it for severe migraines. It put me to sleep. I woke up feeling rested instead of feeling like a zombie.
I also take a hydrocodone-acetaminophen for pain. The small piece also took away my pain.
Cannabis oil is legal in all 50 states.
I’ll let you know the results in a couple of weeks.
Medical Marijuana is pure. You only need a little to get the healing properties.
ßudd bump
Cool story. Where did you hear it 1st?
A friend brought “cheweies” (gummies, really) back from CO and gave them to me.
Like your anecdote, I ate one and nothing happened, so I ate all 8 doses in about 20 minutes.
Nothing happened. I took a nap and later did some gardening.
It’s all fun and games till your child starts having 100÷ seizures a every day.
Regardless of your position on legalization I think everyone would agree that modern pot smells worse than a 3 day old dead skunk in the July sun. Absolutely disgusting. This is not the pot of the 60’s and 70’s.
