Why wasn’t there immediate action to stop the destruction of the Brazilian Rain Forest in the Paris Accord?

Remember in the late 1990s when we were having difficulty in Foreign Relations with Brazil because they thought Al Gore and his nuts were going to invade and seize the rainforest to “save” it?

Doo-doo-doo, da-da-do-do-wow!
There's a place called the rainforest that truly sucks ass
Let's knock it all down and get rid of it fast
You say 'save the rainforest', but what do you know?
You've never been to the rainforest before!
Getting Gay with Kids is here
To tell you things you might not like to hear
You only fight these causes 'cos caring sells
All you activists can go ____ yourselves.

Someday if we work hard boys and girls..
There'll be no more rainforests left in the entire world..
Getting Gay with Kids is here
To spread the word, and bring you cheer
Getting Gay with Kids is here
Lets knock down the rainforest, whaddaya say?
It's totally gay, It's totally gay!

I remember all of that. I use that example and the others to point out the hypocrisy of the conservation agenda. Another example they can’t compute....ISIS. ISIS is very, very bad for the environment and for the future of civilization. So why wasn’t Obama blowing them off the face of the earth before they took over high-density cities? Instead, his priority was a climate accord in which China and India might start polluting less in 2030, unless they change their minds.

“Coach” is sort of a vocation as opposed to a rank or an office. Compare that to continuing to address Hillary as Secretary Clinton.”

For me it’s a good thing that President Trump has people like Bolton, Rudy and Newt in reserve to call on.

Make no mistake, Trump is in this for the long run. We have 8 more years of his wonderful, energetic patriotic government to enjoy. It’s great that he has amazing talent on the bench to call on as the game goes on.

“That was five years ago. Are there more recent numbers? Say 2016.”

The graphic says it’s as of May 12 — 3 weeks ago.

Saving the rain forests won’t make any money.

One of my favorite jokes...

What's the difference between a jungle and a rain forest?

No one will give you money to save a jungle. (Swamp and Wetland also works.)

And we do. It’s just not part of this particular treaty. I think most understand this climate issue is just a way to have global governance.
