North Korea fired what appeared to be multiple land-to-ship missiles off its east coast on Thursday, South Korea's military said, the latest in a fast-paced series of missile tests defying world pressure and threats of more sanctions.

The launches comes less than a week after the United Nations Security Council passed fresh sanctions on the reclusive state, which said it would continued to pursue its nuclear and weapons program without delay.

Enough time to leave our “friends” to fend for themselves as they want. Good border wall defense for us. May they find solace in their new found rubble.

You’re the dictator of a nation.

Nobody but nobody wants your land. Superpowers don’t. Neighbors don’t. People on the other side of the planet don’t.

You’d think the leader of such a nation would simply be content to rule and come up with policies that would cause his people to respect and trust him. Hey, you’ve got the most power in your nation. Flout it. Enjoy it. Enjoy life.

Instead this lout starves his people and tries to come up with means to attack the world’s only super-power.

That has to define you as clinically insane on some level.

Kimmy was hoping i think to see just what would be sent after them so he change tactics, he wants to sink those aircraft carriers, either by a shotgun salvo or as a diversion.

Lil Kim is just angling for more food for his troops. His payday is when Iran can drop a billion or two in his lap for one of those nukes.

Yep, apparently South Korea is in denial, having elected a liberal government and then predictably following that up by becoming suicidally delusional. I would press on and not worry about what happens to them. In fact, I'd go ahead and remove the THAAD batteries that have already been installed.

They've made their decision. It is clear what will ultimately be required here; we might as well get on with it to protect ourselves and our more sane allies, like Japan.

Contrary to popular fears, he has zero chance of so much as scratching the paint on any of our carriers. One Arleigh Burke class destroyer alone could easily swat out of the sky anything he can throw at them. They’re even capable of dealing with simultaneous salvos of multiple sea-skimming missiles, something I highly doubt lil’ Kim can pull off. I don’t think most Americans realize the full capabilities of the escort ships in a carrier battle group.

I'd go a lot further than that. If SK won't allow our defensive missiles, it's far past time to remove the thousands of American troop stationed at the DMZ. They'll be the first victims of an NK attack. Enough is enough with the new China-loving SK administration!

I don’t think it is any coincidence that on the eve of well publicized testimony our enemies see an opportunity to rattle things even further. The democratic and main stream media witch hunt has dangerous repercussions that extend beyond their limited “Get Trump” mind set.

http://www.gonavy.jp/CVLocation.html Carriers Vinson and Reagan, Dual carrier Operations Sea of Japan w/Japan Maritime Self Defense Forces, Nimitz underway to East Pac!

We usually don’t station 3 carrier battle groups in the same location without a good idea of what is going to happen!

August and Sept. are peak Typhoon months for the Sea of Japan. Seems like action the sooner the better from that perspective.
