Comey is not hurting Trump, nor will the MSM followup. Au contraire. Comey is hurting Trump by calling him a liar and saying that he perceived Trump's statements on Flynn about letting it go as a direct order to stop the investigation. This constitutes obstruction of justice. Comey had never reported it.

Respectfully disagree.
Even the MSM won't be able to portray this petulant little man-child as a hero beyond tonight's evening news.

If Comey were credible and/or likeable he could hurt Trump. As it is, he’s neither. When a guy who comes across as a malicious, self-serving snake makes accusations, he further harms himself as much as anything.

No, as Dershowitz pointed out, it isn’t obstruction for a president to tell the FBI to start or stop an investigation. He could have called Comey in and said “I have pardoned Flynn, and your investigation is closed”. Perfectly legal. Trump HEADS the FBI. If Congress felt out was corrupt, they have the power to investigate and impeach.
