Comey submitted his statement before the hearing to provide the framework for this hearing. He who frames the discussion wins the argument.

The Dems are using Comey's statement as the roadmap to make their points.

Comey is a nut case. He could have informed Trump about the legal boundaries that governed his meetings with him. Instead, he was more intent on building a case against Trump. Comey is part of the Establishment's war against Trump.

My instinct here is that Comey was happy to meet with Trump behind closed doors and began documenting these meetings because he really thought Trump would say something that would be an open admission of some kind of wrongdoing.

He only fabricated the bullsh!t about his concerns about one-on-one meetings after he was fired and he realized he had nothing to show for his "detective work."
