Lou Dobbs said former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper compared the Trump-Russia probe to Watergate while speaking in Australia.
Dobbs said the comparison Clapper made during a speech in Canberra contradicted his sworn testimony back home.
"Clapper has admitted for months there is no evidence of collusion," Dobbs said on FBN.

Russia is always committing espionage, its what they do.
The hoax has been to use this as a pretext for surveilling Obama’s political opposition, and to then use this as a means of libeling that same political opposition.
Meanwhile ignoring other figures who really are in bed with the Russians, not to mention the Saudis, the Chinese, the Qataris, Muslim Brotherhood, the Soros Group, and so on.
Compromised men were using this fake investigation to go after men who were not compromised. The hoax isn’t Russian espionage, its using Russian espionage to hide Obamist espionage and subversion.
Clapper is a lying, traitorous rat who will go down in history as a....lying, traitorous rat.
I don’t know for sure who is Comey’s #1 handler, but Clapper would certainly be in the circle of possibilities. They know that Comey is weak and will roll over quickly. I hope that he is put into protective custody at once.
Why do these people, John McCain included, say these outrageous things when not on American soil?

When he said this was worse than Watergate, he should have been talking about the blatant use by the Obama administration of fake news (’Golden Showers”) as an excuse to the spy on Donald Trump and his associates before the election and during the transition. That IS worse than Watergate and not one question was asked about that yesterday by the GOP cowards in the Senate.
Watching Comey, Clapper, Brennan, etc... I see a group of highly political mandarins, who have vast power of information, and who are like devils, speaking in highly legalistic, bureaucratic and contradictory terms, whose words and actions are unintelligible to average Americans.
You slander lying, traitorous rats by comparing them with Clapper. We have to go back to the Johnson Administration to find a comparable double-talking weasel, namely Dean Rusk.
Rusk probably fueled the continued pursuit of half-hearted “containment” in Viet Nam throughout his tenure as Secretary of State under Kennedy and Johnson, as victory was never an objective.

Yes; there have been many — maybe scores — of crimes under Clinton and Obama that are much worse than Watergate. A pity Clapper wasn’t referring to any of THEM.
Could almost feel sorry for the guy. Like the dork who goes to prison and is handed from one Bubba to another, then traded to Achmed for a packet of cigs. Comey went from being owned by various people. Clinton, Obama. Then, Trump meets him and says, ‘I expect loyalty’. LOL Amost feel sorry for the guy.... almost.
George Webb has some very interesting things to say about Clapper. He is part of the swamp, deep state. The latest video cavern to midnight with George Webb reveals a lot of dirty things and Clapper is in the muck of the swamp which Trump is trying to drain. Yes, Clapper smells foul...poison to the United States of America.

Clapper is 100% correct. Watergate does pale in comparison to this. Except that it is Comey, Clapper, Brennan, Clinton, and Rice who are “All the President’s Men.”
Based on no evidence and looking for an excuse, they concocted the Russian collusion gambit. They then used that to surveil the Trump campaign using unmasking. They passed this information to the Clinton campaign. It was the modernized version of the Watergate break in.
Meanwhile, the Comey lead FBI was pressured by Loretta Lynch into tanking the investigation of Hillary Clinton. This made Comey uncomfortable enough to act in an unauthorized way. Nowhere is this more evident than his press conference wherein he usurped the authority of the DOJ to announce his findings. So much for not commenting on an active investigation. He then re-opened the investigation only to close it and admit later, under oath, that there was classified information on Huma Abedin’s computer. Evidently, Comey was uncomfortable with Lynch’s pressure, it it did not make Comey uncomfortable enough to resign and go public or to report Ms. Lynch’s interference up the chain to Comgress, to the President or OIG as is required by law. Now, being alone with Trump, that is evidently the tipping point for Mr. Comey.
Regardless, the entire investigation into Clinton’s e-mail server and her blatant mis-handling of classified information was a mask for a larger crime. Namely, the pressure put on the FBI and Justice Department to ignore the Clinton Foundation’s misdeeds. As of now and as far as we know, there has been no investigation into what at the very least appears to be an organization built to capitalize on quid pro quo arrangements in exchange for government favors. This is truly why Mrs. Clinton set up a private server. It was to foil any view into her trading favors for cash via the Clinton Foundation.
To this day we have not seen any of those lost and deleted e-mails (the modern equivalent of the lost tapes). We know these were deleted and destroyed while under subpoena. We know Comey and the FBI failed to place Mrs. Clinton under oath to ask about this. Obstruction of justice was apparent but as of this date no investigation into this resulted or were charges filed.
All of the above misdeeds were of little import to the Clinton campaign and the Obama administration. Clinton was a presumed winner of the Presidential campaign. Thus, after she was sworn in her administration would simply sweep it all under the rug. But that did not happen.
Phase II ensued.
Fearing exposure, the Obama administration assembled their team to distribute unmasked intel to their deeply imbedded allies so that it would be impossible for Trump to easily clean them out. Working hand in hand with Clinton’s campaign they ramped up the Russian collusion theory. What had been a weak and fictional excuse to surveil Trump was put forth as being real. This way they could cover their illegal actions and gain a bonus. The bonus was to de-legitimize President Trump and once
that fever spread to their media allies, even use it as a reason to remove him from office. In short this was a de-facto pre-planned coup d’etat.
The vehicles they used to execute this attempted coup included leaks of classified information to the press some of which was blatantly false. They also relied upon their holdover officials and bureaucrats to execute their plans. As it turns out, even James Comey was a leaker of classified information. Clapper and Brennan who had completely politicized their jobs and the intel gathering organizations were willing accomplices.
Lest anyone think it was just the Obama administration who was in on the coup, the congressional democrats had a role to play. Charles Schumer actively aided and abetted. He purposefully held up Trump’s appointees so that Obama’s holdovers could remain in power to de-facto undo the election by stalling the President’s orders and by continuing to leak information. Schumer almost let the cat out of the bag on a Sunday show where he mused that messing with intel agencies would be Trump’s downfall. He said so with a knowing smirk.
In furtherance of the aforementioned plot the democrat party and the deep state fully knew that the Russian collusion story would ultimately ring false. Thus, in collusion with Comey and other former Obama officials they conspired for the appointment of a special prosecutor. They knew that once this occurred the Russian story would matter little. Instead, the special prosecutor would be free to hunt for some crime, any crime with which to charge the President. Imagine this, without a shred of probable cause or even a statute or law that could be said to be violated an investigation by a special counsel was pushed for. So much for probable cause, so much for our Constitution. Criminalizing the political opposition is now the order of the day.
The conspirators went about achieving their goal by falsely charging AG Sessions with improperly meeting with the Russians even though such meetings were part and parcel of if this was part of his duties as a Senator, which he was when the meeting took place. Unfortunately, Sessions succumbed to the pressure and decided himself where his oversight was most needed.
Once recusal occurred, the deep state kicked it into high gear. They used James Comey to do their bidding. He leaked a memo to the press that forced a false story to be published. As of today we know this about that memo: the President disputes its content and Comey LIED as to why he leaked it. He claimed he leaked in response to a tweet from Presidemt Trump. Yet, the tweet in question came after the memo was leaked. What we do know for sure and for certain is Mr. Comey admitted under oath that he leaked the memo to provoke the appointment of a special counsel. Mission accomplished and on false pretenses.
As of today the trail of crime and corruption is the size of a ten lane highway and plain for all to see. As of today a special counsel is busy investigating so that he can find facts to justify the investigation so he can keep investigating. The real story of course being that this is no more than a vehicle to abuse justice to remove a lawfully elected President.
Watergate? Nixon was a piker compared to these guys.
Clapper is another traitor who goes to foreign countries to trash the president. F him. He was an American Stasi who spied on Americans.
