BREAKING - Sources in FBI tell me they are unable to locate James Comey's memos on their servers.
Didn’t he say he gave them to Mueller? Or maybe there never was any memos?
I'll bet that lib professor friend of is now beating his head against the wall wishing he had never met J. Edgar Comey.
Leni
Comey pased it off to his law prof buddy, surely via a non-secure email. Shades of PIAPS. Then the squeamish, yellow prof handed it off to someone else, who actually leaked it to the NYSlimes, via non-secure email, and both individuals have probably bragged about being in the loop to anyone who’d listen. No telling WHERE that unfiltered info is by now!
That’s Exactly what he and his team should do. Totally ignore the media, don’t even call on them in the press conferences, put them in the back row again. Put them all in the back row.
I learned from an early childhood age that the worst thing you can do to someone is ignore them.
It’ll work now with the Dems and the Lib turd’s and MSM.
The ‘content’ of the memo is what was passed. That can mean the memos weren’t real...it was just the content.
He’s simply responding to the signals WE have given him:
Hillary got away with it, SCOTT FREE.
Why not him also..?
He would be an idiot to act otherwise.
When you SUBSIDIZE criminal activity?
YOU GET MORE OF IT.
That info is a keeper. Post it all over the place.
Shouldn’t there have been a printed paper copy placed in the FBI’s files? Comey claims he gave Mueller his “copies” of the memos. Why would he turn over Federally owned documents to a Special Counsel when they weren’t actually requested? And how do we know that those are the actual, original memos? He could have written them the night before he gave them to Mueller for all we know. Are they date-stamped by the FBI? Personally, Comey’s actions are those of a very guilty person in all this. He’s trying to be one step ahead of everything, but he’s very poor at doing it. It’s the mind of a man trying to manipulate the system, but doing it very poorly.
Maybe they were destroyed because they gave what would be credible evidence to a conspiracy investigation.
Those memorilializations ought to bear time markings that agree with Comey's story.
Also, Comey testified to the Senate that he gave all of his memo of conversations with Trump (and maybe more, but conversations with Trump was specifically stated) to Mueller.
Anything Comey gave to Mueller could have been fictional accounts created in May.
One more thing, when the press says that three others can corroborate Comey's version, that does not mean Comey's version is truthful. He could be "building a fake alibi" only instead of alibi, he is building a case of false witness.
I think the Intelligence and a couple other committees asked the FBI to furnish them to congress
With the millionare and his wife, the movie star, and the skipper.
Comey manufactured the memos and edited them as necessary somewhere. Printed them and then provided the memos to Richman and saved a copy for Muelller. He then destroyed the memos are they were last edited on a machine not under his control.
Printed copies carrry no metadata. However, if those memos are not at FBI then they never existed during his tenure and were created after the fact.
During the hearings, Comey said he turned them over to Mueller.
What makes the corroborating accounts [drop Flynn investigation] so likely to come up when Comey testifies is the fact that Republicans on the committee apparently plan to make his failure to notify the Justice Department of Trump's alleged indiscretions grounds for doubting his story. The meetings he held with his three subordinates were largely about that issue:
One senior law enforcement official familiar with the matter said that Comey specifically sought legal advice from Baker about when and how to tell the DOJ about Trump pressing Comey to shut down the Russia probe. The same official said that Comey and Baker had more than one discussion about the matter, and that Baker almost certainly made extensive notes about those deliberations. Both Comey and Baker sought the advice of Rybicki and McCabe as to whether to inform the Justice Department of Trump's pressure of Comey to shut down the Russia probe, according to this same official. All four of them had reservations about doing so because they did not fully trust Attorney General Jeff Sessions -- and because the events were unprecedented in their experience. So for Comey, these discussions not only provide a contemporaneous record of his account of the meeting with Trump, but also documentation that he did not lightly refuse to notify his nominal superiors at the Justice Department. As Waas notes, "[t]he three officials in question are all lawyers -- and, likely, note takers." They will have their ducks in a row when called upon to tell their, and Comey's, stories.
“Because memos never existed.”
Yep. Comey’s “contemporaneous memo” is the one he wrote for congress that reads like a Hallmark movie’s letter from a scorned lover.
Doesn’t matter, Trump and Sessions won’t do a damn thing.
Isn't that how they busted Reality Winner, with the dots on the printed pages?
.
Only if they are willing to go to jail for Comey!
And i doubt it.
