Got me. This guy was explaining his escape story and mentioned his neighbor pounded on his door to warn him, and told him his refrigerator had exploded.

Don’t know what to make of it, other than that.

Butane/propane as a refrigerant? Truth be told, there exist “refrigerators” that use those as a refrigerant. That and ammonia and other cooling methods.
