On another thread someone said they heard that he is suffering from internal bleeding and they dont know where the bleed is coming from..when I first heard he was shot in the hip I thought to myself “It could have been worse” I didnt think being shot in the hip was life threatening, but now he could have internal bleeding and can die..Please God protect this man let him live
Time is of the essence with the internal bleeds. I assume he's getting the best care possible in D.C. Even with a bleed, they can stabilize with two lines in of blood, fluids, electrolytes, etc and go back in and find the source of the bleed. You have to be quick and competent. He's in good hands. It sounds hairy, but trauma people can deal with this. . We'll all hope and pray for the best.

Congressman Bergman who is ex military was initial person to treat Scalise. Said that he was able to open up his clothing to get to the wound, it was upper hip. He could find no exit wound.
