I love Sarah, but I see things a little differently than she does on this issue.
In the Gabby Giffords case, Sarah was totally innocent of any wrongdoing when she showed a map with “targeted” cities. Her intent was never to “target” those cities with violence, but merely to pinpoint on a map the places that need more attention in her campaign. This is a common practice and in no way should ever have been construed as encouraging violence.
The Left, on the other hand, has been totally blatant in their relentless barrage of hate towards President Trump, his family, his staff, Republicans, conservatives, and even liberals who aren’t “all in” with their venomous agenda. The Kathy Griffen atrocity, numerous tweets, the media, and even “Shakespeare in the Park” are all culpable.
I agree with both of your points on Post 13.
AGREED, Sarah Palin never ever gave the slightest hint of endorsing or encouraging political violence. The current Leftards, on the other hand, are quite explicitly sanctioning and encouraging political violence against President Trump, Republican officials, and all of their supporters.
There is a world of difference between the two situations (among other things, Jared Loughner was mentally ill and to the extent he had any political beliefs he seems to have been a Libtard). In the current case, the shooter was clearly of leftist orientation and the torrents of hateful threats and incitement spewed in recent months by leading Democrats and media types most certainly influences the mind of someone like that.
I agree with you. Sarah never went out and encouraged violence.
I hate to say it but I believe Bernie, just days before, had some over the line tweets that make him somewhat culpable for taking some degree of blame. He didn’t call for shooting, but he certainly insinuates soft violence.
