NBC has a firearms "expert" on explaining "difference" in rate of fire in semi-auto pistols and semi-auto rifles.
And now you know ...
(Excerpt) Read more at twitter.com ...
... this proves that it's time for all you Freepers who say us Newsers don't know about guns to give it up ...
LOL and the idiots who watch that crap have no clue about what is semi, and fully automatic
What a maroon.
I bet that gal with the pretty mouth never held a gun or any weapon in her life let alone fired one...
Lester Holt attributed the UPS shooting with an “Assault Pistol”. I haven’t seen one but I would assume that only the military and LE are authorized to have them. To be an Assault Pistol I would assume that it has the characteristics of a folding stock, is scary and black, has a bayonet mount, has a front grip, is at least 50 caliber, etc. Freepers that have images of an Assault Pistol might want to send them to Lester so he can continue his firearms education of the public.
Remember?
‘This is my rifle, this is my gun..’
‘This is for fighting, this is for fun.’
What was the name of that book/movie?
“Full Metal Jacket.”
What was the name of that book/movie?
= = = = = = =
May have been Jack Webb in the DI BUT seems kind of ‘racy’ for 1956 or so....
Full Metal Jacket may also have used it
Doubtful.
If he was armed with what I suspect they are calling an assault pistol, it’s extremely fortunate he was such a bad shot.
Usually these assault pistols are stockless military pattern semi-auto rifles.
With a red dot on top they could be devastating as they accept the standard capacity magazines for the full rifle versions. Inside of 100 yards a good shot could make the difference between a military pattern semi-auto and one of these assault pistols all but negligible.
Wow, this is the CNN expert? LOL
At 10,000 per second, that would take 2.58 hours to kill 93 million.
With perfect shooting of one kill per fired bullet.
Not in Virginia!
That line is far older than believed. It indicates the diffrence between small arms and big stuff like artillery. Probably WW1 or even earlier.
That was one of the dumbest things I have heard on TV.
“It goes pop!” but if you flick a switch it goes “pop pop pop!”. Unbelievable.
The one in my good hand is a revolver and it shoots first. The other hand is the backup pistol and it shoots more.
If I need more and I’m still able, it’s going to get real noisy.
That bimbo doesn’t have a clue what she is talking about!
