“What are the odds of you existing?”

The odds of an exact replica of Kaslan existing are astronomically high (like abiogenesis).

The odds of Kaslin’s parents having a child? Pretty good.

So what is your point?

>>>>“What is TIME?”

>>The thing that keeps everything from happening at once.

Oh. How does it do that?

” It seems impossible based on your everyday experiences, “

When Einstein was a little boy, his father gave him a compass.

As a kid, he was fascinated by this mysterious force that acted through metal and glass.

As an adult he reflected on his childhood observations ....

Gravity and light were also as mysterious. It was just that he grew up with these and they were familiar to him.

It is correct that life didn’t just spring from nothing. The flaw in the Town Hall argument though, is that it’s reasoning is confused.

Evolutionary theory has never stated that life springs from nothing. The idea of “Spontaneous Generation” began with the ancient Greeks, and was later adapted by Christianity.

Jerry Newcombe’s not only unaware of the history of the subject he writes about, he’s also unaware of the fundamental tenet of science, which is empiricism. You can propose any idea you want, but unless you can back it up with data and facts, and then have that data replicated by other scientists in the field, it is absolutely meaningless. Just like in a court of law, hearsay evidence is not allowed.

Evolution is supported by radiometric dating and the science of stratigraphy. In order for evolution to be discredited, these scientific principles would have to be proven wrong. It only takes one instance, but so far that hasn’t happened.

Newcombe’s also overlooked the fact, that since God created everything in the universe, He also created the laws of physics, which include radiometric dating and stratigraphy. So to deny evolution is to deny the existence of God.

Scientific version: Time arises from the phenomenon of Quantum Entanglement, and its fundamental job is to oversee that no event bypasses the 2nd law of thermodynamics.

Like 1/2xINF-1 impossible.

I have a problem with evolution and I like the clockmaker theory.

Mainly because they’ve found no traces of ancient civilizations pre 12000 bc. Mankind didn’t just spontaneously evolve at around 10000 bc. Mankind was genetically created

>> My observation is that the god of atheists & evolutionists is TIME <<

Maybe true for male atheists. But I’ve heard that female atheists have a god whose name is “Yes.”

“So to deny evolution is to deny the existence of God.”

Presuming that what is observed is due to evolution. Otherwise, no.

Panspermia theory just creates more questions because there is now the question of how those aliens came around, and more.

The calculation of odds assumes the creation of life in its present form. The first life would have been very much simpler. Further, Prior to life, biochemistry produces complex products, and the products themselves interact in complex ways. For example, complex organic molecules are observed to form in the conditions that exist in space, and it is possible that they played a role in the formation of the first life.

Airplanes did not start out with the assembly of a modern Boeing 777.

A friend of mine always says that the evolutionists have a divine trinity just as Christians do. Theirs is:

Father Time
Mother Nature
Lady Luck

wasn’t the early universe (before the big bang) supposed to be completely random? What happened to make it suddenly go from a random system to an organize chaos system?

According to the Standard Models of Cosmology concerning the Big Bang. Space and Time itself came into creation by the singularity. There is no "before" the Big Bang within the property of Time in our natural universe. And there is no "outside" within our spacial system.

This is very counter-intuitive of course. It is hard to get a mental image in one's mind to how this works. It can really only be understood by abstract conceptions and mathematical formulas and such.

But an image that has helped me is to image the universe like an expanding balloon, with the galaxies being buttons on the balloon being pushed apart. The surface of the balloon would be our three dimensional space in this analogy. The galaxies are getting further apart as the balloon expands. And the balloon keeps expanding endlessly from its apparent beginning as a single point that seemingly came out of nowhere. Of course this image has the balloon within a 3 space already, and we are missing a dimension, so its not a perfect analogy.

What is outside the universe is outside of space and time. It is not in any way subject to the space and time of our universe. It is like the relationship between an author and a story the author and the fictional world the author creates in a book. The characters in the book can travel to any time or place within their universe, but they will not find the author as a phenomena in that universe...and yet the author in another sense is found everywhere in their universe.

Try the English version:

Time is a derivative function of state change that progresses relative to E within the inertial frame(s) in which it is observed.

So simple a 2nd grader could understand it without being relatively special.

What is TIME?

Apparently it is the “secret sauce” of evolution.

I always ask these two questions when confronting those who don’t believe in a Creator.

What was the first thing?

How did it (somthing) come from nothing?

It is impossible for anything to come from nothing. The first bit of energy or matter had to be created by a eternal and intelligent Creator. To think otherwise is anti-science.

The Universe Fine Tuned for Life

What are the odds of all of this occurring as a cosmic accident?

Apparently you don’t have a better description/understanding of Time than that.
