Because they have lots of missile sites that are in hard cover and there’s 250,000 artillery tubes, rails, etc., in the North that can hit Seoul and lay waste to it. That’s the gun to South Korea’s head and why there’s never been a satisfactory conclusion to the war.
We don’t *have* 250,000 bombs to take them all out at once.
Seoul should have been gradually relocated out of artillery range decades ago. They have no excuse.

The U.S. possesses around 38,000,000 various weapons of war. Most of that is millions of bullets, shells, rockets, and assorted bombs and missiles.
For the record, I am against starting a war with N. Korea over this. He went willingly of his own free will. He knew, or should have known as it’s common knowledge, what the dangers of that country are. It’s his fault and his fault alone.
Where do you get the number 250,000? I am reading their entire army has 8,600 artillery pieces and 4,800 multiple rocket launcher systems. I can’t see how that adds up.
