Hewitt resided for a time in California, but it had absolutely no offect on him. He was NEVER a Californian. What you get with him is pure Warren, Ohio.

Years ago I was a regular caller to his show. He was always personable, gracious, and patient with my opinions.

But, imo he wants too badly to be liked by the people in the so-called” news media and by the people in the so-called “entertainment” industry. He thinks there really is such a thing as a ‘centrist” in American politics.

His answer to this nation’s hard left turn is to advocate a mild right turn. That approach has never worked for the Republicans. Not in my lifetime. They always end up being dragged farther and farther away from the Constitutional Republic we were meant to be.

Duane, if you’re by some chance lurking; Please give my best to Mr. Hewitt. And tell him I still think Shakespeare in Love is a better movie than Saving Private Ryan.

Hewitt especially hates the USC Trojans. When he made a local appearance, I made sure to wear my USC tie to annoy him--and he was annoyed!
