They’re not sneaking back. They either drive right on over or walk boldly back across.
Their own gang is heavily involved both as hired guns for various Mexican cartels and own much of the illegal transport business of both materials (guns, drugs, etc) and people.
OK, once deported, issue a S.O.S. order, if they are found again on US soil.

Second line of defense could be our soldiers in training, get them some moving target practice.

Unfortunately, you're not reading it incorrectly. The reason, of course, is for leftist cities and states to show how "caring" and "tolerant" they are by obstructing efforts to expel illegals. Somehow, they never seem to find any sympathy in their hearts for the innocent American victims of the illegal alien crime wave.

Sounds to me like in this case National Security would make this a non-issue.
Plus I don’t understand, this is land right along the border. Wouldn’t anybody with that land think of this increasing their remaining property value by 10 fold?

I think the whole problem is political in nature. These people want protection, Mexico is sliding into a 3rd world nation status by the year.
Deport them to North Korea. let’s see them sneak back so easily.
I think mayors and council members of these sanctuary cities need to be held personally, criminally liable for any crimes committed by illegals they either shielded or released. In my mind, these politicians are directly responsible for anyone assaulted, raped, or murdered by these vermin, and they need to face consequences for their enabling of this.

Actually, I think this gang and the cartels that hire them have bought off so many “oficiales del gobierno” in both Mexico and the USA. The whole “caring and tolerant” spiel is merely a ruse to keep people from criticizing the cash flow.
Drug and human trafficking is an untaxed, untraceable, multi-billion dollar business ... I’ll bet these scum have sleazy public officials paid off from the tip of South America all the way up to the northernmost parts of Nova Scotia.
If your average public persona has no problem shaking down a private company in broad daylight, imagine what they’re getting from the various underground economies.
