Thanks for the post. My daughter is a dual citizen (Thai/US) and I was planning on trying to get her into the USNA. However, if she has to give up her Thai Citizenship she will lose a whole lot of inheritance as only Thai Citizens can own homes/property.

Well, the US does not recognize dual citizenship anyway. Does she have two passports?

Maybe she could be a Thai navy type, keep her money too but then she would be in a 3rd world situation an in a Muslim mess to boot.

Makes you think the US ain’t such a bad place to be after all. Maybe even worth serving in uniform, and forget the money- Thailand is a hell hole except for tourist locales. Been there too.
