The FBI must have concluded that if they told the truth—it was politically motivated violence from Leftist hate—that many more such "motivated" Democrats might be triggered.
That's the only reason I can think of for why the FBI would so obviously ignore facts and evidence that are as plain as the nose on one's face...
Because everyone takes pictures of a random baseball field for no reason, and then goes back later on a whim to shoot people there. Just more confirmation how stupid the swamp people think we the people are. No alarm bells...
We all know how different this would be going if a Trump supporter had shot the Democrats at the other field...and how all these facts would have been interpreted far differently now.

Remember that Andrew McCabe is the acting director and his fondness for Trump and Flynn was on display with the F them party he had with senior FBI officials after the election. First we F Flynn, then we F Trump. And he was rewarded with being acting director. Still Obama’s FBI since there has been no swamp draining there.
The FBI is full of dirty cops now that would shame Elliot Ness and Hoover. Politics is far more important than being right these days.
