The tenure system for professors needs to fixed or eliminated. They become unaccountable. A law unto themselves. What other profession gets that?
The Trump administration should eliminate federal funding for any college/university that won’t eliminate tenure.
She was an adjunct professor.
There is not much security in that position.

I know of one! The United States Congress!!! /s;)
The abuses of the tenure system are hugely overstated. I'm a tenured professor who has been in academe for 30+ years. Tenure can be revoked and I've seen it happen. Universities have post-tenure review processes and if someone isn't performing, he or she can be removed.
As to your solution to a non-problem, how is that conservative? Because there are no federal universities (other than the military academies), why should the federal government get involved in private employment contracts? If universities want to grant tenure, what business is that of the federal government? State governments have an interest in employment contracts for state universities but with private universities, the governments have no business getting involved in private employment contracts.
