In a transparent attempt at blame-shifting, former Obama spokesman Josh Earnest has tried to place responsibility for President Obama’s failure to respond effectively to Russian meddling in the election . . . on Republicans.
It’s been reported that Obama was paralyzed into inaction by fears of seeming to help Hillary during the campaign. Appearing on today’s Morning Joe, Earnest said:
“The first time, [McConnell] didn’t have time to schedule time to talk about it. This is something that Republicans did not take seriously, and that did hamstring our efforts to respond to this as effectively as we would have liked.”

The whole thumb on the scale argument is just silly. The election was rigged for Hillary but Trump won anyway.

His "help" would only be scrutinized if reported by the media, and we know that for 8 years, the media had NO stomach for reporting ANYTHING negative about the Obama administration and its activities.
This was a President that shipped untraceable amounts of cash to Iran, deliberately thumbed its nose and insulted anyone conservative, Christian, or outwardly American. Do you think he felt "paralyzed" by any of those actions?
That is all common knowledge as well as over 5 million illegals voting for Obama —— yet no one does anything about it! This crap has to stop. My suggestion is no absentee ballots. Make military bases polling stations. ID’s proving citizenship that will be run through police departments to ensure no fakes. Results from polling stations to a clearinghouse of sorts over the phone with passwords and such so no internet interference. Everyone else votes in their own district on maybe a two day voting window and everyone gets purple ink on their left pinky finger. Warnings to all that voter fraud will be investigated with mandatory jail sentences and no statute of limitations.

So true. Whenever actual leadership was called for, Obama was pathologically passive. The only time he acted was when he could do it sneakily, behind the scenes. Examples, weaponizing the IRS, FEC, the FBI, the CIA, etc. Then others could do Obama’s dirty work, and he had what he took to be plausible deniability.

That is a totally lame excuse. Obama was campaigning for Hillary. He was interfering in the election. Trump as using “the Russia thing” against Hillary, mocking that maybe Russia had her 30,000 e-mails. The “Russia subject” was fair game in the campaign.

PAPER TRAIL EXAMPLE: the Obama admin announced on Oct. 7, 2016 that the theft and release of DNC emails was part of a widespread campaign “intended to interfere with the U.S. election process.”
Looking back, this Oct move by Obama was clearly intended to fend off his collusion w/ then-DNC head Debbie Wassermann Schultz, in the Pakistani spy network on Capitol Hill.
The buzz is the Pakistani Muslims were hired by Debbie Wasserman Schultz----she got them security clearances and humongous salaries and helped them abscond....
The more you examine the Paki/infiltration, the more you sense that D/W/S did not act alone on this......(that fact does not exonerate her treasonous activity).
This gal D/W/S is super-ambitious. She actually has a spreadsheet of those that "owed her" .......people she did favors for.
D/W/S was especially keen on getting into the good graces of the half-caste Royal Idiot b/c it suited her crass self-serving ambitions.
Strangely enough, on the surface it seemed like the half/caste kept shrugging her off.....as she pursued him w/ a vengeance.
Distilling the info, one concludes, she was a willing "doer of tasks," but he had to give the appearance that they were not connected.
The Pakis could not have (A) gotten security clearance, and, (B) could not have absconded without some pretty high-level help.
The grotesque salaries are also problematic.....could be one way she was paid off........campaign contributions, kickbacks, wire-transfers, and the like.
Tried explaining this to a friend. He didn’t get it.
1) Hillary used an outside server. That’s illegal; she belongs in prison.
2) Hillary destroyed evidence. Doesn’t matter if it was recipes and wedding stuff. 33,000 emails of recipes and wedding stuff? I don’t think so. She belongs in prison.
