I picked up my Tens unit from the VA today
The VA finally put me on Salsalate, 750mg as needed
And I was today approved to see the chiropractor of my choice. All three work for me.

Good for you! I just wanted to comment about the use of Opiates. I'm 74 and have chronic lower back and hip issues. I have had two knee replacement surgeries, wrist surgery with 4 screws that prevents me from moving my wrist in the down position. A totally torn rotator cuff surgery that still bothers me. I confess that I use hydro condone 7.5 one tablet approximately two or three times a month. I cut 4 acres of grass that takes about 3.5 hours of cutting on my zero turn. In my particular case there is a need for this pain medication. If used judiciously, especially for older folks, it truly helps and shouldn't, in my opinion, be universally frowned upon.

Please tell me, does the VA provide Chiropractic? Or, reimburse it?
If so, I’m going to hit ‘em up.
