The so-called missile launches into Golan are fake, empty shells directed into non-populated areas.
Essentially the shelling is a distress signal from Al Qaeda requesting Israeli air-support against the SAA.
I didn’t vote for Trump to involve us in another war in the ME, this time with Russia. Syria is a Russian ally that was being taken over by rebels of unknown loyalty and mission and ISIS, also of unknown origin. It is not in our interest to get involved in another costly internal war.....if we ever want to make the USA great again.
There is nothing in the ME that Americans should die or fight for or pay for, unless the countries that are there do it first, and in greater numbers.

If you look at the western side of the Golan, very little of it is held by SAA, so your assessment is probably correct.
