I believe currently Ruger 10/22’s are technically AW’s in Calif, now..?
I believe that some Airsoft pellet guns are now illegal in California.
As I read the CA DOJ website, it’s only centerfire semi-autos with at least one “ugly gun” characteristic, ie. a pistol grip, thumbhole stock, threaded barrel, flash suppressor, forward pistol grip or barrel shroud, but NOT a bayonet lug. So not a rimfire 22, or for that matter a stock Mini-14. Mags over 10 rounds are illegal for either, though a first offense is an infraction with a maximum 100 dollar fine.
