He could have been more tactful.
“Mika spent three days at Marolargo but he didn’t want to see her with all the bandages after the surgery.”
This would have made people ask, “what surgery?” and would have worked just as well but wouldn’t have been as crude.
That said, there’s no doubt I still support him.
What's crude about a face-lift? If it was supposed to be so private then what was she doing hanging around a president-elect's party (and all the media)?
If he wasn't specific about the cause of her being a bloody mess, then the media would have accused him of making some sort of sexist remark about females and "blood". Right?
