Liberal States Get Jittery as Trump Looks to Clamp Down on Voter Fraud

As the Trump administration looks to clamp down on widespread reports of voter fraud and abuse, some mainly liberal states are pushing back — fearing that Trump is launching a “voter suppression” commission.

Trump’s Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity has asked the states to hand over data from their voter rolls. According to Axios, that includes voter information regarding felony convictions, military status, and voter history. They have set a deadline for the middle of July.

However, the outlet reports that the commission is getting pushback from mainly liberal states such as California, Virginia, Connecticut, and Vermont — with some refusing to comply altogether and others handing over what is publicly available. However, some red states, such as Oklahoma and Kentucky (which is headed by a Democratic governor), have also pushed back against the effort.

Trump has frequently highlighted alleged cases of voter fraud and has even claimed that he would have won the popular vote in the 2016 election if the number of illegally cast votes was discounted. In May he signed an executive order setting up the commission to investigate those reports.

However, the states objecting have said they won’t comply if they believe the effort is more likely to produce voter suppression rather than the stated goal of election integrity.

California’s Secretary of State, Alex Padilla, objected in part to anti-immigration hardliner and Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach’s appointment as vice chair of the commission.

His role as vice chair is proof that the ultimate goal of this commission is to enact policies that will result in the disenfranchisement of American citizens,” he said.

“This entire commission is based on the specious and false notion that there was widespread voter fraud last November,” Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe...

Liberal states are worried that real proof of massive voter fraud will
be exposed.

The most documented stealing of an election that I know of occurred between Dino Rossi (R) and Christine Gregoire (D) for the 2004 Washington State Governor’s election.

Rossi had one the election, then won the machine recount and then lost the hand recount that followed. There was a court case that went into January 2005 and there was a great investigative blogger named Stefan Sharkansky.

In that election, the democrats pulled every trick they had to steal the election except for what is now emerging as the biggest threat for the future which is electronic.

Mail-ins are one of many attacks for adding false ballots to steal an election. In the 2004 election, absentee ballots were sent to an offsite mail room for sorting. The persons doing the sorting were convicted felons on parole. The supervising Parole Officer was a democrat.

If you really want to get wise to all the types of fraud that occur, read Stefan’s archives from November 2004 through January 2005. They are not so easy to find these days as he has moved on to other things. But his reporting was just damned smart on every level and it was quite educational. In his reports, he showed techniques how ordinary people could check publicly available information to uncover election fraud.

Here’s a link from way back then:

The Trump Administration will get to the bottom of all the fraud and they will publish a massive report of all fraud and weaknesses, then present to Congress for election reform.

One of the greatest vulnerabilities is of an electronic form. Although many districts still have paper ballots, the transmission of results is electronic. Ironically some Seattle liberal minded sleuths were investigating the 2000 election of Bush vs. Gore when they happened to find an unsecure webpage of file links on what is called GEMS which stands for ‘Global Election Management System’ and which involved George Soros.

Sometimes liberal-minded people discover the problem is liberals. Whenever I see that happen, I think somewhere in Heaven, an Angel gets his wings.
