The boats out of Libya are rust buckets. The boats of the NGOs like Drs W/out Borders that rescue at sea are the majority of what's actually bringing people to port and they are not rust buckets by a long shot.

Not challenging your assertion, but since I haven’t been paying specific attention to the quality of the ships, could you point us all to your sources. My recollection is of coastal crap ships, Zodiac like craft, rafts etc, overloaded, swamped, and capsizing. Maybe not enough data points to match your statement.
