I’m Canadian so I’m not as versed in this as all of you might be. (I guess I could look it up, of course.) But what about this...?
God forbid, Trump is removed from office. Pence automatically becomes POTUS. Pence pardons Trump and appoints him as VPOTUS. Pence then resigns as POTUS thus making Trump POTUS once again. Liberal heads explode.
Could it work like this?

Nope, if an impeachment is confirmed by the Senate. DJT would be ineligible for any Federal or Elective office according to US Code.
The ONLY way this could work [slim chance, tho] is if DJT resigned as POTUS prior to any Senate conviction.

Probably not since the Congress would be the ones approving Trumps removal from office to begin with and they would also have to vote on Pence’s appoint of Trump as VP not to mention his re ascension to the presidency.
This whole thing is purely the hapless Liberals attempting to play to their base in an attempt to keep them whipped up in a frenzy until the coming 2018 midterms.
