Washington Post's David Ignatius: Fighters cheer Trump's name in Syria
American Thinker ^ | 07/03/2017 | Rick Moran

The dean of foreign correspondents at the Washington Post, David Ignatius, just returned from a week in Syria. He went on MSNBC to talk about his trip and - reluctantly - report on the popularity of Donald Trump with fighters who are battling ISIS in Syria.

Legal Insurrection:

WaPo’s David Ignatius has just returned from a week in Syria. He was almost apologetic in prefacing his remarks: “I’m going to say something that in some ways is sympathetic to Trump.”

He then proceeded to say that he was told by top US commanders that “the most daring and decisive” attack in the battle of Raqqa would not have happened if it hadn’t been for President Trump’s decision to delegate authority to commanders in the field.

Ignatius’ contrasting depiction of the Obama administration was incredibly damning: “under Obama, that would have taken a couple of weeks of White House meetings and they still wouldn’t have made up their mind.”

Ignatius also said that the name Trump was cheered whenever it was mentioned during meetings Ignatius had with Syrian forces trying to take out Assad. One Syrian commander praised Trump for having what Ignatius described as a vulgar term that in Spanish is “cojones.”

The Syrian fighters are responding to a policy change by the Trump administration that seeks to destroy ISIS rather than continuing with President Obama's policy of pin prick attacks that did little to damage the terrorists. It's the sort of thing that becomes obvious when the coalition air force hits ISIS where it hurts. The unfortuntate rise in civilian casualties is understood by these fighters as a tragic cost of getting the job done.

“praised Trump for having what Ignatius described as a vulgar term that in Spanish is “cojones.”

Not very vulgar. And all the marx-o-crats can come up with is pajama boy or bernbag sanders or the diseased old skank, hillary.

The lesson learned from the previous 8 years: Never send (elect) a fag to do a man’s job.

Thank God for bringing forth thee Commander-in-Chief this chaotic world so desperately demands at this tipping point in history of civilization!!!
It is indeed awe-inspiring how whatever hope remains for freedom and liberty rests upon the shoulders of one extraordinarily patriotic American leader!!!

I pray with all my heart that President Trump will one day soon be accorded the tremendous respect, appreciation and admiration that he so profoundly deserves!!!

Isn't it pathetic that David Ignatius—ostensibly a competent journalist—apparently felt the need to apologize to his Establishment overlords—in advance—for praising President Trump?

The caliphate in Syria is coming to an end, and the fighters there who are making it happen give a lot of the credit to Trump, who has given them the green light to just win.

Those fighters want to win, so they cheer their biggest supporter and enabler, namely Trump.

Ignatius would be a fool to not acknowledge this.

Think about what Ignatius said about Obama: “under Obama, that would have taken a couple of weeks of White House meetings and they still wouldn’t have made up their mind.”

When facing a fight, you have seconds to decide - fight or run away. The fag Obama couldn't make up his mind. By default it was to run away. I'll never forgive others for electing Obama for two terms. We elected a real man to replace him.

As long as there is ONE demoncrap alive, that won't happen.

Those fighting the actual battle against totalitarianism cheer Trump. Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton received a standing ovation as she and former President Bill Clinton made their way to their seats for a performance of the Tony Award-winning play “Oslo” in New York City on Sunday night.

I think there is a lesson here.

Sounds like Nixon’s “Rolling Thunder” after LBJ trying to micromanage from the White House during VN.

BTW, for leftists of all ages, the Left (yes, your hero, JFK) started Vietnam.

So, now the Washington Post< is a source of accuracy? You can't have it both ways. It's either fake news, or it isn't.

MSNBC is pathetic.

They are now touting the Constitution. Let’s keep them at it to explain the Bill of Rights.

The lesson learned from the previous eight years is that Obama DID NOT WANT TO DESTROY ISIS....the capability was always there, the willingness was not. Obama supported ISIS.

There is a lesson here. These people are not the producers, they are the overlords. They are losing their mouthpiece and sanctuary.

Hillary needs to keep walking in the woods.

According to the Left Media Cartel, the Constitution reads, “there shall be no criticism of the media”.

The best times of life.

The left has never known a President Trump in power.

He is an honest man and has that responsibility.

He will fight back and send them over their own roller coaster. They can moan and bitch all they want. They are more concerned about their presence than what the President is doing. He can spend 5 minutes on them and they are busy defending themselves for three days.

They are not very bright.
