I don’t think the network will ‘go away’ but I see people leaving there because of the flak and a massive hack further reducing their credibility - if they have any left.
I don't think CNN has any real grasp of just how lawless and powerful the Internet can be. There seems to be this weird blind spot prevalent within the MSM toward their rival medium that it's a bunch of kids with IBM PCs playing games. That wasn't even true in 1995. It sure as hell isn't true now.
They've blundered into 4th generation warfare is the simplest way I can think of to present it. There aren't any rules. And it can't be stopped.
