‘Never Trumper’ Bret Stephens: POTUS Supporters ‘Idiots’ & Bigots, Should ‘Admire’ Elites

On the Fourth of July of all days, “Never Trump” New York Times columnist Bret Stephens said President Donald Trump’s supporters are “idiots” who need to “admire” elites. The Times’ and MSNBC’s insufferably smug and out-of-touch useful idiot said Warren Buffett has a wonderful line: “First come the innovators, then come the imitators, and then come the idiots.”

Bret Stephens has made some sense over the years. His battles against the climate change zealots, his defense of the Christian West, and other issues make him more sane than the Left.

I believe his main problem, however, is that as a self-identified "secular Jew", he can never fully come to the Truth because he denies it.

Therefore, he is a like a reed blown by the wind. His hatred of Trump is irrational, and reason will not sway him (just as reason does not sway the insane Left).
