“K” is a letter not a word. The alphabet is a list of letters not words.
The wikipedia article about a guy named Chadwick who came up with the box score says that “K” first appeared in print in 1859 to denote a strikeout.
Should have followed that up by asking if any their dads were coons.

While you are correct, it is just a typo.
The letter “K” should be stricken from the alphabet. Every use of K should be replaced with the letter X to make up for decades of use of the offensive K.
