You just can’t make this stuff up. Yesterday it was revealed that several of fired FBI Director James Comey memos contained classified information:

Comey wrote memos containing classified information and leaked them to the press through an intermediary. Comey testified under oath that none of the memos contained classified information. The intermediary says he did not know the memos he leaked contained classified information.
“At the time he shared it it wasn’t marked classified....”
“No reasonable prosecutor would conclude he intended to share classified information...”
Want recklessness is enough, Comey. Hope he gets indicted.

Here we go with the “intent” thing.
Did he scan the memos into his home computer / server ?

It’s the FBI Director writing a memo on topics for which he should be completely familiar with classification guidelines. No reasonable person could conclude that he made an innocent error on the classification of his private discussions with President Trump on this topic. If the memo contained classified information, that could not be an accident or due to a lack of knowledge of what is classified.
I spent most of the past year assuming that Comey was a moron who made multiple serious but unintentional errors in judgement. Occam’s Razor led to the conclusion that Comey was over his head and made bad decisions on the Hillary investigations. Given the ongoing pattern, I apologize for thinking Comey was an intellectual clown. He’s not a fool - he just thinks he can fool all of the people some of the time.

Comey wrote the memos. Comey leaked them to his friend with instructions to leak them to the NYT.
Comey said he wrote the memos to cause the creation of the Special Prosecutor to investigate Trump.
The memos are Comey’s version of events and appear to not be truthful.
I was pulled over once because the speed limit sign was obscured by overgrown brush.
I told the officer I had no idea I was speeding because I didn’t know there was a speed zone in the area.
I still got a ticket.
But he didn’t mean to... so it’s OK.
The rule of law is dead.

Comey is a career prosecutor and his “friend” is a law professor at Columbia's prestigious law school
Both are more than sophisticated and educated enough to understand the law and recognize classified information. In fact, Comey’s strategy of leaking through a friend as an intermediary was a blatant attempt to circumvent those laws and shield himself from prosecution .
Now both are sweating because their scam to avoid prosecution may be falling apart

“If you do not maintain security of classified material, intentionally or unintentionally, we will throw you in prison.”
“Unless you’re a Democrat and then you can wrap your sandwiches in classified material as far as we are concerned.”
First of all, nothing is marked 'CLASSIFIED'. Secondly, it doesn't matter if it's marked or NOT, COMEY KNEW IT WAS CLASSIFIED AND HE IS RESPONSIBLE for it's handling.
Comey KNOWINGLY leaked classified information (marked OR NOT) and should be prosecuted under espionage laws.
This is the SAME TRICK Hillary used and she should have NEVER GOTTEN AWAY WITH IT. Oh wait, it's because of LYIN' LYNCH and CRIMINAL COMEY that she DID get away with it.
Yep. The perfect example is that if you were to scribble the nuclear launch codes on a piece of paper and hand it to the Russians, you can’t then say you are innocent because “it wasn’t marked Classified.” It is the nature of the information that determines whether something is classified, and to what level, not any markings that may or may not be on the document.
