House Freedom Caucus chairman Mark Meadows says the next government spending bill, which needs to be passed at the end of September, must fund the construction of President Trump's border wall, or else there'll be a government shutdown.

We just need to shut down the media first.
I’m not sure I believe anything from this Axios site, but why in the HELL is it even a question of whether the wall should be funded or not? How can the Republicans be so stupid not to follow the agenda of the only person in the Republican Party who knows how to win - Trump. 63 million people voted for Trump’s wall. Get it done! Ahead of schedule & under budget!
Needless to say its about time for the “Freedom Caucus” to live up to its name.
There’s a perception that they are pretenders.
Donald Trump was elected to literally secure the border with a wall and to take other measures to control the flow of illegal and or cheap labor into the USA.
He needs support in the face of the corrupt Republican leadership in Congress that never really supported him and takes opportunities to attack him from time to time.
It’s past time that the Republicans support this very important campaign promise made by the president.
I’m sure it’s extremely difficult as a Congressman when if the leadership can’t get your support they’ll just sell out to the rats. We don’t have based leadership. That has to be the objective. Congress need a leader.

Most of Axios is pretty bad. However, I believe that Swan has solid connections in the White House. His track record has been pretty good...so far.
We may see a point in the future where President Trump starts (or just plain has to) to call out the house and senate to put up or shut up.
Guaranteed the 63 million people that voted for him would be 100% behind that.
McConnell and Ryan would have to be total idiots not to understand that......

Obamacare repeal, tax cuts then overhaul of the tax code, and funding the troops and wall should have been done before January. We have the perfect opportunity to complete defund and destroy the Left and Republicans are pissing it away.

Meadows said he was on the horn with the Big Dog in the White House this morning. This looks coordinated to me, IMO.
The GOPe is lazy. They don’t want to work. They just want the perks for themselves and their families.
