I’m pretty sure I saw an article or two with the DEA warning cops not to get any fake pills/heroin with carfentanil on their skin because they could overdose. That was crap or what?

This happened where I live:
I don’t care if it is absorbed through the skin or absorbed through mucus membranes - the result is possible overdose or death to first responders - besides almost all EMTs and cops wear gloves when they respond to overdoses.
What I worry about is the potential for bioterrorism here. Suppose an evil person dusts grocery stores or other public places with this stuff? Or a stupid addict leaves it on their coffee table while their toddler gets it all over them? The possibilities are endless with such a deadly substance.
