This seems to be a none issue to me.

So, let me get this correct. If, when you purchase something, you're okay if the company denies you what you paid for and substitutes something inferior but doesn't give any explanation nor do they refund you any money.

Coulter acting like lib jerk.

Coulter can be a jerk at times. However she paid for the seat, it was confirmed and booked. Delta did not give her what she paid for and offered no explanation.

I would think suitable penance for Delta would be to fly her first class from now on at the price of an economy seat with extra leg room.

I well remember back in the sixties and early seventies when Delta was the finest airline in the United States. That has sadly changed. Delta should get down on their knees and pray every night to American Airlines. Otherwise they would be at the bottom of customer service and civility.

Delta Airlines started in Monroe, Louisiana as Delta Crop Dusting Service. They flew out of a grass strip in their crop duster days. They then went into local commercial airline service and then became the Delta of today. They were an absolute great airline.

I do not do if they do it anymore but in the 70s Delta would fly all the heads of the corporation to Monroe to open their first board meeting of the year. They held the board meeting in one of the local banks. The whole purpose of this was to remind them of their humble beginnings as just a crop duster service in North Louisiana. I think Delta has lost their heritage and this is very sad.

During the economic crunch on airlines in the 80s the loyalty of Delta employees was incredible. The employees voluntarily kicked in part of their salary to buy Delta a new aircraft. The airline and employees were a great team together. That most sadly is gone.

Southwest Airlines has picked up this type of loyalty and are kicking ass. I remember some many years ago something was amiss at the check in counter with Southwest. I saw a captain hustling bags for check in. That my friend is loyalty.

In today’s customer service environment, sometimes letting the inner b*tch out is exactly what is needed.

Delta suffered from severe mismanagement at one point. If you want to pin-point the time range, look at the takeover of the PanAm European routes (and employees) and the move of the annual meeting from Monroe to New York City.

They spiraled down from that point.

Negress puts it to a conservative, and you show which side you are on.

I will before too long.

Like most folks, I sleep for a set number of hours a day.

Patience.

I take about 100 flights a year. It is not a big deal to be moved in the same section or class. Moving someone down to a lower class after being boarded and seated is pretty rare. Almost nonexistent. I personally have never seen it unless it is so done who was complimentary upgraded and required to return to their originally booked class.

Back in the day, I bought first-class tickets from Braniff to fly between Norfolk VA and Amarillo TX. As it happened, Braniff did not have first-class on the Dallas to Amarillo leg of the journey. So what they did was to seat a stewardess next to me who served me before she served anyone else on the flight, then sat next to me and chatted the rest of the flight. I’ll never forget it. Best flight evar.

And WiFi on Delta? What a joke.

From the article:

Delta's fritzy WiFi, which Coulter suspected was intentionally broken "to prevent passengers from tweeting from the plane about how they're being treated."

They gave Ann’s seat to a short person.

And the stewardess says she does not know why.

Delta started out as a crop dusting outfit - they’ve hardly advanced from that.
