We had a bit of rain yesterday...1/10th”...and it threatened today. At least it made it cooler to be cloudy! LOL!

WOOHOO on your rain yesterday! We got a little yesterday too - - .15 an inch from two brief heavy showers. Just hot and muggy today.
Went to see a guy’s collection of antique cars yesterday morning. I’d seen a couple of them at car shows but hadn’t seen the others. NICE stuff he has.
Not such a good weekend beyond that. Looks like another kitteh is going to be put to sleep tomorrow.

Not a bad week at all!
Tigermauz (pronounced Tee-gah mowz) is growing like a weed!
He is starting to look coltish (all legs)
He is VERY smart and to my delight, he’s beginning to “talk”
just like Minette used to do!
I am smitten by a kitten!

Sounds like Tigermauz has you wrapped around his lil dewclaw. LOL! Easy to believe after seeing his sweet, sweet face. What a doll! Glad you got what sounds like a good replacement to fill the hole in your life Minette left when she passed.

He is doing just fine and growing so fast!
He’s pretty clever!
He knows his name. and he also learned the word “No!”
since I have to say it so often!

Well, he stopped eating and I hoped it was just a bad tooth. He had one pulled last year. The vet thought the same when I took him to be checked out and scheduled him for surgery Tues. to pull one that has a lot of plaque on it.
But that’s not the problem based on what I’m seeing. He dropped too much weight too fast and that tooth doesn’t seem to hurt when I touch it. Odds are he has cancer or some other terminal disease. He isn’t interested in eat or drinking at all but I’ve force-fed some baby food the past three days.
I know Minette was “only a cat” but I loved her dearly and had her for almost 16 years!
I took her death very hard.
When I had my knee surgery, Minette jumped up on the
sofa after Mr B got me settled and comfy.
She sniffed the bandages on my knee, and then laid down so her chin was resting on that knee, and stayed there quite a long time.
I know she KNEW that was a bad boo-boo.
That’s the kind of cat she was..
