He seems happy and is so playful and is eating well.
He has started to groom himself, (washing his face, etc.)
So cute to watch the gains he is making!
I just adore him and he is healing the hurt from the
death of Minette.
I just love him to pieces!
;0)
Lucky you!
(Don’t rub it in, Sis)
I am wicked jealous, but at least retirement
is in sight!
Hope I can retire at 65, just 3 years to go!
I’m off to me bedchamber!
Must work on the morrow!
Love to all and hugs alla’round!
AAAAAAWWW!! That’s too sweet. He weawwy wuvs his mommy.
Makes me hot to see him wrapped around your head like that. LOL!
Sophie and Lorien sleep on each side of my head while Holli sleeps on my chest and Willow on my stomach. Had to turn the fan in the bedroom up to medium to help keep my cool while I sleep. Looking forward to releasing those girlies into the rest of the house and it won’t be much longer.
Evening, Kathy! Like the bio!(I see he’s a southpaw like me.)
Suzye is her 7a to 7p caretaker and she is excellent with Mom. I’m 7p to 7a.
Suzye said it is time to get a hospital bed. So I am trying to get the prescription for Medicare without an in-office visit, which, if they insist, will require an ambulance.
I have a pad on the bed that ding dongs when she sits up. It’s a toss up if she remembers to push the call button.
And the most help of all to me is that Suzye has been down the dementia path before and lets me know how I can handle certain things.
I was away from the computer checking on Armand, the playing with the kittens a little and didn’t realize it was so close. Snoozed and losed on that one. LOL
They ARE excellent parents. Jasper’s really good at keeping the pantry filled and that isn’t easy when feeding 5 hungry little mouths plus Didi’s.
Wish I’d been watching when the intruder showed up. Bet that was fun to watch. Didi doesn’t take any guff off anyone.
It would be awesome if we can keep Armand going. He keeps me torn on the decision by eating sometimes, like a short time ago. He ate almost a half can of food.
I’m thinking of having the vet do a complete blood panel to see what shows up. If kidney and liver functions are good and his white cell count is ok, we’ll go from there. He isn’t showing any typical signs of kidney or liver failure but he’ll be 13 next month and the functions should be checked. Buckwheat didn’t show any of the typical symptoms either and his kidneys were failing.
It IS fun to watch them grow up and do “adult” things like washing their little faces and such, isn’t it?
And loads of fun watching them play. They aren’t quite coordinated and stumble all over themselves at times, then look around like “Wha’ happened?” hee!
Glad he’s helping to heal the hurt. It’s hard losing a beloved pet after 16 years and it does leave a hole in your life.
Good night and pleasant dreams!
Have a good week!
How's everyone doing this morning?
Nice to read about someone doing good.
Thinking about you and your “baby” Armand. I hope the vet can do something for him.
I got busy watching some old “Closer” and “Cold Case” episodes and then it was waaaaay late! LOL!
See you tonight?
