Oh, forgot ....... I haven’t checked on Didi tonight. Poor bird. Another several weeks with 5 more brats to take care of, assuming all the eggs hatch. They probably will.
Howdy, Sis! (((hugs)))
Good to see you tonight!
Anyone who would think of a cat as “only a cat” doesn’t deserve to have one in his or her life. LOL! They’re special critters.
You and Minette had a close bond and you’ll probably never stop missing her. But you have that sweet baby boy now and it sounds like a nice bond is forming already.
*HUG*
There ya are!
Good to see you, too!
All is well?
I waited a long while to get another because it hurt so much,
but also I wanted to be fair to the new kitten and not compare him to her.
He has a great little personality. and I am totally smitten.
He will not be the same as her, as he is a male and though male cats are loving, they are a little more independent, IMHO.
LOL
He is now tackling my ankle with wild abandon, even though I haven’t moved it!
Everything is a toy to him, even me!
Hey Ma!
How are things going with you at home?
Are the girls that come in to help you making this easier for you?
I sure hope so!
*HUG*
No doubt they’ll all live. I don’t think she’s lost one yet. This is her 3rd clutch since last August. ugh!
I sure hate to hear that your kitty is in pain. I know it’s hard to have to do what you have to do. :(
Yep...everything fine here. Just enjoying being retired! :)
?
?
?
?
Oops..kind of overkill. With the slow return, who knew. LOL!
You did the right thing for both of you, waiting until you were ready. You’re fully enjoying your new baby and it sounds like he’ quite a happy camper.
My experience is it doesn’t matter whether male or female - - some cats are more independent and some are almost like dogs.
I hope your ankles and legs don’t end up looking like mine! Pixie’s girlies have worn them out with their attacks. I can’t wear anything that goes above the ankles for all the scratches. LOL! But I love those silly kittens.
Oh, no doubt they’ll all live if they all hatch. She’s a great momma and Jasper’s turned out to be a great dad. He impressed me helping her raise her Aug. clutch that weren’t his own offspring.
There’s always the chance at least one egg in that pile isn’t viable.
Got eh cam up now and the babies are quite vocal. Eating a freshly delivered rat from daddy now.
I don’t know if Armand is in pain or not. He doesn’t seem to be but he won’t eat much. Occasionally he’ll eat a little on his own but not much. I keep trying, not wanting to give up on him but he has to meet me halfway and isn’t really doing that.
WOOHOO! You were paying attention!
#50!
LOL! Kind of?
But it worked. :-)
This is how he loves to sleep when it's not too hot to cuddle. LOL!
Awwwwww..
How cute is that?
Tigermauz like to curl up on my shoulder in the little
hollow underneath my collarbone.
The he sings (purrs) me to sleep!
It did! When I saw the last two, I just knew you’d snuck in ahead of me. LOL!
Both those owls are excellent parents. When that intruder came inside the hideout the other night, she was all over him and scooted him outside in a hurry. I thought it was Jasper and she was mad at him not bringing a rat. LOL!
I hope your Armand makes a recovery. I know how much this pains you to have to decide. It’s never easy. How old is he?
