This is exactly what needs to happen. Exactly. Get rid of that monstrosity, and then take your time to fix what needs to be fixed.

If it is repealed, does the health care system go back to that which existed for 8 years under Bush AND 8 years under Hiliary’s husband?

People are gonna DIE!!! Just like they do today and every hour of every day.

Excellent! Just repeal the monstrosity called Obamacare NOW!

BTW -— McConnell could use some support for this on Twitter. The Dem operatives have been mobilized and are bashing him fiercely there.

It’s a control thing and you know that.

Healthcare at 8 bucks a bandaid is a problem.

The government jacked it up to 15 bucks a bandaid.

2 hours in a stitch room cost my insurance 17,000 last year.

Why?

Kicking the can down the road again. Repeal it and go back to private insurance competition in all states. Set up high risks pools for the states to run from govt. block grants and the feds get out of the decision making. States run it. Then reform Medicaid and get able bodied persons off it. Families making 80,000 plus should see reduction in benefits on Medicaid — dramatic. Life ain’t fair and the govt. can’t make it so.

Repealing is what I want!

NO replacing. We did pretty good without the government in our insurance business for two centuries!

This is a smart move...if you believe as I do that there wil be at least 57 Republican senators and a more conservative SCOTUS in 2 years.

“A good, experienced federal employee could get the re-zipping done in 20 minutes top!”

Well, yeah... but the screaming would be distracting.

Amazing. The art of the deal, in action right before our very own eyes. This is amazing, if it happens. Here’s what they’ve been doing so far: act like you just can’t get everything (repeal and replace) done; get some senators oppose the replacement idea, then, BAM, oh well it looks like all we can do now is repeal, and then work on replace later (ahem). End result: repeal happens. That’s my optimistic (perhaps sci-fi?) interpretation of McConnell’s statement along with all the other maneuvers and words up until now.

Agree! The two year time frame is fine by me. I hope that idea goes completely away, by then.

Two years gets them through the next election. They’re kicking the can down the road, but it would certainly affect the dynamics in the 2018 election.

No.
The Congress also has to authorize up to 10 billion a year in subsidies to the insurance companies!

What a sad joke.
Media is already calling this “Repeal and delay”.

Can the Senate even pass a straight repeal?

You bet! Repeal now. They will never be able to replace because they are all over the map, making deals, pleasing their donors, etc.

Years ago, we didn’t have health insurance because no one needed it. Costs were so low. Charity cases were just that, at the mercy of private charities. No mark ups, no fraud, straight up health care with no unnecessary middle man and no gov’t intrusion.

MAGA by restoring the America our Founding Fathers created, and nothing more!

Obama's job as homage to his Marxist/Leninist past was to pass socialist medicine. He rammed this through in an illegal and unconstitutional manner by bribing many senators. That was his job one from the CPUSA.

"Socialized Medicine is the Keystone to the Arch of the Socialist State.” - Vladimir Lenin

Socialized medicine and other means to destroy America were part of the 'fundamental transformation' garbage Obama foisted on America.

Job two was supposed to have been completed by Hillary, that of gun control and gun confiscation.

Once job one and job two are complete, you can call up the cattle cars to transport patriotic Americans to the Southwest US to their death camps.

Folks, we were this close, this close, to this really happening.

We the People demand a Repeal of Socialized Medicine and demand America Never go down that road again. We all know what socialized medicine means: substandard care, 'equal treatment' as determined by committee, age determined treatment options with less options the older we get, death panels, psychiatric panels for political dissidents, a complete dossier on every American, their medical history, their day to day history, location, etc. We demand this evil plan be repealed!

FReepers, I ask you, do You want a panel of SJWs determining your access to care, quality of care or any care at all? I didn't think so.

A FR surge in the am to Call your Senators and demand immediate Repeal and worry about replacement later. No replacement sounds good to me. Free Markets Rule!

Didn’t “Republicans” Collins, Murkowski and Portman already vote for repeal when Obama was prez?
