White House Meeting With Primary Challengers of GOP Sen. Jeff Flake

The White House has been meeting with prospective opponents of Sen. Jeff Flake (R., Ariz.) in an apparent effort to put pressure on the senator, who has been a vocal critic of President Donald Trump.

Flake refused to endorse Trump during the presidential campaign and said he could not attend the GOP convention because he had to "mow his lawn." Now, the Trump administration has had meetings with at least three prospective candidates to run against Flake in the Republican primary, Politico reports.

Flake is up for reelection in 2018 and is considered quite vulnerable.

Politico reports that Trump has talked to Arizona Treasurer Jeff DeWit at least twice. DeWit was a part of Trump's 2016 campaign. White House officials have also met with former state Sen. Kelli Ward and former Arizona GOP Chairman Robert Graham.

Trump has vocalized his dislike for Flake. Trump said at a rally towards the end of his presidential campaign that he would spend $10 million of his own money to help a challenger defeat Flake in 2018.

We knew the RNC was full Uniparty retard when they ‘repudiated’ Trump prior to the election. One after another put out statements after “P*ssygate” disavowing Trump.

They were willing to hand 1, 2, possibly 3 SCOTUS picks to Hillary to keep the Uniparty in power.

I’m also done with the RNC and have been for some time. They’ve become the BigGovernmentLite party. In 8 years they provided no opposition to Obama. Now they refuse to help Trump.

This is also why they are participating in weakening Trump - they don’t want him raising money for primary challenges. All about consolidating power. A weak Trump prevents him from being a threat.

I don’t even know what the hell Chemtrails is, and I doubt any of my neighbors snow or care.

Basically, Flake is being punished for not kissing Trump’s ring. But being a Republican is now defined as that so I guess this is the new reality.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Heller had that note planted in his own (NV) office.

Please do tell us which/whose agenda you’d prefer that Flake...and other Republicans....support, if not President Trump’s?

Kelli appointed to take McCain’s place after his impending death with DeWit showing a lot of spirit for a run at Flake is a great idea.

My reservation about DeWit is he could have run previously and didn’t show any effort.

That was the whole point of the immigration invasion started by the 1965 Ted Kennedy Immigration Act.

Flake has been a problem for a number of years. A McCain ditto, isolated from voters, smug and acting like voters don’t matter.

His recent disloyal attitude toward his party’s nominee and then winner is just more of the same, not some streak of character.

I didn’t voter for Trump in the early primary but Flake is a flakey dick.

I am actually HAPPY that the Trump Administration isn’t playing by the “good ol’ boys” rule!!

The problem with Congress (Dem or Rep) is that once they are in there, Congress critters start circling the wagons around those losers (probably in an effort to protect all the money they have invested in getting them into Washington, D.C. inner circles)!

I want the swamp drained of all the sorry ass losers who refuse to do the will of The People - DEM and REP!!

Graham and Alexander in 2020.

You can add Gardner.

Do not hold your breath. Obamacare will never die. Kabuki. All of this is kabuki. The House knows the Senate will kill anything the money masters do not want.

One way incumbents stay in power, is that it’s unusual for opposition to unite behind a single, well-funded challenger.

If Trump can get each #NeverTrump politician to get a single, well-funded primary opponent, it would make them take notice.

That was the whole point of the immigration invasion started by the 1965 Ted Kennedy Immigration Act.

It is not only the brown skin wets that have invaded us it is the indoctrination brought on by the DOE ramming down the liberal agenda filling our school system. Why do you think they want to take away the babies as soon as they can and plop them down in the "system" to start the indoctrination? Only because the illegal invaders are not taking over the RED party fast enough and they need more whites on board that are smart enough to fill the gap.

The brain dead whites they chunk into protest crowds with the illegals and BLM group.

Good. This is exactly what I’ve been hoping the President would do. He needs to treat scum like Flake like the traitors to their voters that they are. No Mercy!
