Wow. Terrible diagnosis. I’m sure he will be gone in 6 months. I am not a fan of his but I would not wish this disease on anyone.

A poor prognosis.

just to put it in perspective, thousands die at far younger ages due to not having quality healthcare afforded the Senate and House or otherwise living high off the hog...

young people die of cancer all the time...babies too....

this man has lived a long life, he's thrown his weight around and been a big shot....

I feel worse for that HS graduate from California who learned he had cancer in his brain died in one week, never having been able to get his diploma and wear his cap and gown....

I'll save my sympathy for him and others like him.

Glioblastoma is a stage 4 aggressive brain tumor. At most he has 6 months to a year to live, and he will be very sick while he is dying. He needs to do the right thing and retire/resign asap.

I agree, I’m not a fan of his to say the least.
But I wish him and his family the best.
No doubt he will resign, if only to be with his family now.

Not if he gets the same gold treatment Carter got, you know, the special treatment given to the uber-elite who, for some unknown reason, somehow manage to live well into their 90’s.

Yep, my best friend - the guy I grew up with, knew since I was 3 - his wife was at work one day and had trouble remembering things and had trouble speaking. In TWO WEEKS she was dead. Just like that *snap*. Went into a coma and she was gone. It was absolute hell, as if she had been murdered. It’s beyond a terrible disease.

“Wow. Terrible diagnosis. I’m sure he will be gone in 6 months. I am not a fan of his but I would not wish this disease on anyone.”

I just posted on another thread on McCain’s Cancer. I had a high school classmate (age 77), who died this past Friday from the same cancer. He was diagnosed last September, had surgery, chemo, & radiation, but all the same he’s gone. At the outside, this cancer is not survivable for much more than 24 months from it’s detection. My friend lived less than a year, and he was in hospice since about last February. If McCain thinks about his country, he will resign in short order, because he has no future, and he will become infirm quickly.

I don’t know what happened to make him vote with the democrats so often, but prayers are needed for his comfort and support during the chemo and radiation.
