That’s right. They all have super solid gold Cadillac health insurance which they have granted themselves and exempted the dirt people they lord over from acquiring.

Although I can sympathize with the senator’s difficulties, perhaps others of that ilk will pause to understand the burdens they have inflicted upon us.........not.

He retired from the navy so he hopefully is using his tricare. Great deserved insurance.

Senator McCain is the worst of the worst when it comes to #NeverTrump-Trump Haters.

I can’t be nasty hearing this news. I support President Trump and he will not be nasty either.

I don’t know what the future holds here, but Arizona sure could use a better US Senator at some point. I agree with that idea.

Congress is not exempt from Obamacare. They were on the Federal Employees Health Benefits Plan (FEHBP). In the signed ACA they are not exempt. They can purchase insurance through the DC Health Link exchange .

Like FEHBP, the members and their staffs have about 72 percent covered by the government (employer's share), but have to buy a gold plan to get that.

But as a vet, McCain also has TRICARE coverage, which would meet minimum essential coverage required by the ACA.
