“I have complete trust in Trump’s judgment.”
He appointed Spicer in the first place. Just a simple lapse of this trustworthy judgment? Or maybe Preibus made him do it......that must be it because in having to relieve the Press Secty that he hired he’s “ahead of the curve.”
Does anyone think here anymore?
rah rah, sis boom bah!
From the outset though, it has always been a fact that between the establishment and Democratic black lists being compiled for anyone who works for Trump, finding good people will be hard. I just hope this guy isn’t a plant to torpedo the president, and from my lowly vantage point that is exactly what he looks like.
Trump appointed Spicer because of Preibus ..
Spicer is resigning because he “vehemently” objects to the Scarmucci hire...the one Preibus didn’t know about until it happened.
When Trump took office he had very few people around him he could trust one iota. He announced his intent to hire Scaramucci (different position) 8 days before he was even inaugurated. That appointment eventually got torpedoed by (Obamna's) "ethics" board.
Trump had little choice but bring in Priebus and some other party RINO's and corruptocrats simply to help with the process of staffing and getting traction (which is still ongoing).
The executive office of the WH has 1,869 full time positions. Most, if not all of those, has to get cleared by the "ethics" committee, have background checks done, etc. This process had largely been done by Obama people early on.
Trump had a choice... either keep all the Obama people in those jobs initially, or at least hire people "neutral" enough to get cleared by the old guard and could help him get traction on things.
