he acting ICE director is vowing to use new resources to target undocumented immigrants in sanctuary cities – a move likely to hit resistance from mayors and local law enforcement who previously have refused to cooperate with federal authorities.
ICE Director Thomas Homan told The Washington Examiner he thinks sanctuary cities like New York and San Francisco are “ludicrous” and plans to direct extra agents to those areas.
“What I want to get to is a clear understanding from everybody, from the congressmen to the politicians to law enforcement to those who enter the country illegally, that ICE is open for business,” Homan said.

About time we got some enforcement.
It’s been 30 years since the last amnesty when we were promised that enforcement would make another unnecessary.
We now have 10 times that number of illegal aliens.
Perhaps we Freepers can help by suggesting some ploys which could effectively lure the cockroaches out into the light for DHS in these crap, demorat run cities.

Any official who obstructs the prosecution of these illegals should be charged as an accessory.
We should certainly aid ICE by reporting any known or suspected havens for illegals.
Offer the armed unorganized militia $25 p/hr to assist ICE to clear out the alien invaders in Sanctuary cities.
You know what they need? A tip line for arresting officers to report illegals to ICE before they're released. Then the agents can detain them as they leave the station.
If these damn states and cities don’t want to cooperate with the Feds and say it isn’t their job, then they have no basis to complain about the ICE folks ignoring their politicians and local LEOs in order to do their jobs. These sanctuary city A-holes can’t have it both ways.

I think they will be limited in their response doing much of what they do now...nothing. If ICE has a warrant or probable cause the local mounties may not assist.
If they intentionally obstruct then that is a whole different ballgame. I really only expect to see that in the peoples republic of kalifornia and nuevo york since they have already submitted to the reconquista.
Those charges should be presented to them in Gitmo following their overnight transfer.
